We train community organizations, victim advocates, shelter staff, healthcare workers, school staff, and other service providers who work with survivors of violence to increase accessibility, capacity, accountability, and to facilitate institutional and cultural shifts within organizations towards LGBTQIA inclusivity. Trainings focus on the dynamics of the types of violence that affect our community, and the specific needs of LGBTQIA people.
SOL/BSeedz provides technical assistance to support agencies in creating LGBTQIA inclusive policies and practices. Click Here to see a full list of training descriptions.
Because we recognize the importance of developing leadership and building power within LGBTQ communities, SOL/BSeedz also offers workshops and community events for the LGBTQIA community and our allies about the basics of community organizing, safer dating and hooking up, creating community based responses to violence, and other issues related to safety and violence.
